We cut these harem trousers from soft, textured corduroy with a gentle taper toward the ankle. The high rise sits on an elastic band with an adjustable drawstring, while curved seams down the front shape the loose barrel leg. The dark yellow tone brings a warm vintage look to cold-weather layering.

• Corduroy fabric and colour. The soft corduroy holds warmth through cooler months and keeps its shape after washing. We chose a muted dark yellow that shows the texture of the vertical wales without glaring.
• Curved seam barrel leg. The leg widens through the thigh and curves inward at the ankle. Curved front seams build in the barrel silhouette, letting the fabric drape freely without clinging as you walk.
• Elastic drawcord waistband. A wide elastic band sits high on the waist and stays put without pinching. The matching fabric drawstring lets you knot the waist loose or cinch it tight over heavier winter tops.
