We cut these loose trousers from a soft, ridged corduroy that holds warmth in cold air. The silhouette uses a curved seam through the hip to build volume before narrowing gently toward the hem. An elastic channel with an integrated cord settles at the waist without binding.

• Ribbed corduroy cloth. The ridged fabric has enough weight to keep its barrel shape rather than collapsing flat against the leg. It softens after washing while holding its structural ridges and deep black tone.
• Harem barrel leg. We built extra volume through the hip and thigh using curved panel seams, then pulled the leg inward at the ankle. The taper keeps the hem clear of footwear while preserving room to move.
• Elastic drawstring channel. The waistband uses a wide internal band of elastic gathered with an adjustable front cord. You can knot it tight or loosen it as needed without the fabric pinching at the sides.
• Deep side pockets. Two inset side pockets sit deep along the forward hip seams so small items do not spill out when you sit. Wash in cold water and tumble dry on a low setting.
