We cut these from a ribbed corduroy that holds warmth through cooler months. The leg curves out through the knee before tapering in at the ankle. A pull-on elastic waist with a drawstring keeps the rise easy and anchored.

• Curved barrel leg. Panel seams run down the front to shape the volume through the calf. The cut bows out wide around the knee and narrows back down at the ankle hem, keeping the fabric clear of your shoes.
• Drawstring elastic waist. An elastic waistband pulls on easily and sits flat. We threaded an adjustable cord through the casing so you can cinch the rise higher or let it sit loose on the hips.
• Cargo pockets. We set utility pockets along the sides to balance the wide leg shape. They sit flat against the corduroy ribs when empty and hold small essentials securely without pulling down the waistband.
• Ribbed corduroy care. The fabric has a soft pile that resists wrinkling and keeps its structure over cold days. Machine wash in cold water and hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not use bleach.
