We cut these from a midweight corduroy that holds heat without stiffening. The high waistband combines an elastic back with a button front, dropping into an arched barrel leg that bows out at the knee and tapers at the ankle. Seam lines run down the front to guide the drape.

• Barrel leg silhouette. The leg bows wide through the thigh and calf before pulling inward toward the hem. This shape keeps fabric away from the knee while walking and gives the ribbed corduroy room to stack naturally above your boots.
• Waistband and button. An elastic back band expands as you sit, while the flat front closes with a single button. It sits high on the natural waist to balance the wide, curved proportions of the lower leg.
• Deep patch pockets. We set oversized patch pockets flat against the front hips. They sit deep enough to hold a phone securely, stitched down with reinforced thread to keep the pocket bags from shifting inside the loose cut.
• Cold wash care. Machine wash cold or wash by hand to keep the ribbed wales soft. Lay the trousers flat in the shade to dry and do not use bleach, preserving the muted army green tone over time.
