We cut these sweatpants with a wide barrel leg that bows gently through the calf before tapering toward the ankle. The fleece knit brings soft warmth without stiff bulk. An elastic channel with a self-fabric drawstring anchors the top, while deep side pockets keep hands warm.

• Curved barrel leg. The leg bows outward at the mid-calf along a shaped side seam, creating volume through the middle that drops clean toward the shoes instead of bunching at the floor.
