We built these sweatpants around an arched barrel shape that bows out through the calf before tapering toward the ankle. The fleece blend carries enough weight to hold that curve without pooling around your shoes. An elastic waist with a matching drawstring keeps the top block steady.

Barrel leg shape. Curved outer seams bow the leg out wide through the calf and pull back slightly at the hem. The cut stays off the shins and holds its structural volume while you walk.
Drawstring waistband. A broad elastic band anchors the rise without pinching. We added an adjustable matching drawstring through the front casing so you can set the tension where you want it.
Fleece blend weight. The cotton blend fleece has a brushed interior and a smooth outer face. It drapes cleanly over the hips, holds warmth in cooler weather, and keeps its shape across repeated wear.
Pocket and hem finish. Deep side pockets sit flat along the forward hip seams to carry daily items without pulling the waistband down. The open hems fall clean over low shoes and sneakers.
