We cut these sweatpants with a high rise and a wide, curved barrel leg that bends outward at the knee and tapers toward the hem. The midweight cotton-poly fleece holds enough body to support the shape through cooler weather. A gathered elastic waistband anchors the top without gripping tight.

• Barrel leg shape. The pattern bows outward through the thigh and calf before narrowing down at the ankle. This curved side seam keeps the fabric off your legs while holding a defined, rounded profile.
• Smocked drawstring waist. A wide band of smocked elastic sits high on the waist. We ran an adjustable drawstring through the middle so you can tie it looser or tighter across the day.
• Front patch pockets. Two deep patch pockets sit flat against the front hips. They are stitched down along the outer edges to carry keys and a phone without breaking the line of the leg.
• Fabric and wash care. The cotton blend has a smooth exterior and a soft brushed interior of medium weight. Machine wash cold with like colors, skip the bleach, and hang dry to maintain the fleece.
