We cut these shorts with a rounded balloon leg that holds volume away from the thigh. The woven cotton blend stays light in direct sun and lets air move through the wide hems. A flat drawstring waistband anchors the top without digging in.

  • Curved balloon leg. The pattern arcs out from the hip and tucks back slightly at the hem. This creates a rounded silhouette that never clings or binds when you sit.
  • Elastic drawstring waistband. A wide band of gathered elastic sits at the waist, paired with a matching fabric cord. You can cinch it tight or let it rest lower on the hip.
  • Woven stripe pattern. The purple and green stripe is woven straight into the cotton-blend fabric. It keeps its clean vertical lines across the gathers at the waist seam.
  • Care and washing. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours. Hang them on a line or lay them flat to dry so the cotton blend keeps its soft hand.
