We cut these mid-rise pants from soft corduroy that holds warmth and falls away from the hip. The leg bows outward through the thigh and calf before tapering gently at the ankle. Striped patch pockets with button tabs break up the milky white ribs.

Bowed barrel leg. The leg curves wide around the knee and narrows toward the hem. This shape keeps the bulk of the corduroy off your shins while leaving plenty of room through the seat.
Waistband and rise. We set a mid-rise waist with gathered elastic and a flat drawstring. It stays put without digging into your sides, so you can pull them on and adjust the tension as you sit or walk.
Striped patch pockets. We stitched deep patch pockets to the front using a contrasting striped fabric. Small button details anchor the top corners and keep the pocket mouths flat against the corduroy.
Corduroy wash care. Wash these pants in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors to protect the raised wales and the pocket fabric. Hang them up to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
