We cut these cropped pants with a wide leg that falls clear of the calf so air moves freely. The knit has a soft brushed face and enough weight to drop straight without clinging. An adjustable drawstring anchors the elastic band at the natural waist.

• Wide cropped leg. The leg stays wide from the hip down to the mid-calf hem. That open shape gives your knees room to bend and lets warm air vent out while you walk or stretch.
• Drawstring waist. We gathered the elastic waistband around a flat drawcord. You can tie it snug for movement or leave it loose when you sit down, without the band digging into your waist.
• Side patch pockets. Two open pockets sit flat against the side seams. We stitched them deep enough to hold a phone or keys without the pocket bags pulling the fabric forward as you move.
