We cut these shorts with a roomy boxer leg that stays off the thighs in warm weather. An elastic waist holds with a flat drawstring, paired with decorative buttons along the front seam. The lightweight woven fabric is printed in fine purple stripes that soften after the first wash.

Elastic waistband. The waist combines a flexible interior elastic with an external drawstring. You can knot it loosely for sleeping or pull it tight for walking around the house without the band rolling over.
