We cut these shorts loose through the thigh so warm air can move freely. The high waist combines an elastic band with an adjustable drawstring, keeping the fit secure without pinching. A classic black and white polka dot print gives the lightweight linen weave a clean finish.

Wide leg cut. The leg opens wide from the hip down, leaving plenty of room around the thigh. This open cut lets heat escape quickly during warm afternoons.
Drawstring waistband. We built an elastic core into the high waistband and threaded a matching drawcord through the front. It stays in place without digging into the waist.
Linen blend weave. The lightweight linen blend has a soft hand right away and relaxes further with wash and wear. It holds its shape without feeling stiff or heavy.
Washing and care. Machine wash cold with like colors to preserve the contrast of the black and white dot print. Line dry or tumble low, and iron warm if you want a smooth look.
