We cut these capri pants from a lightweight linen blend dyed a rich rust red. The high waist adjusts with a self-fabric drawstring, and the wide legs end in flared ruffle hems bordered by crochet trim. Two functional side pockets sit flat along the seams.

Drawstring high waist. An elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring sits high on the torso. The band distributes the gather evenly so the top block stays comfortable without pinching.
Crochet and ruffle hem. Each cropped leg finishes with an open crochet band and a flared ruffle tier. The added weight at the lower seam helps the linen blend hang straight while walking.
Linen blend weave. We use a lightweight linen blend that lets air move through the weave. The rust red fabric softens with each wash and develops a light, natural slub texture.
