We cut these culottes short and wide so air moves through the legs on warm days. The linen blend is light, washed for softness, and dyed in a quiet peach pink. Contrast lace lines the lower edge to give the hem a little weight.

• Lace trimmed hem. A strip of contrast lace finishes each leg opening. The trim gives the hem enough body to hang open rather than cling, leaving the culotte shape wide right to the calf.
• Elastic drawstring waistband. The high waistband uses gathered elastic stitched through so it stays flat against the skin. We added an adjustable matching drawstring to set the rise where you want it.
• Linen blend fabric. The woven linen blend vents warm air and softens with every wash. It wrinkles naturally through the day, taking on the relaxed texture typical of open-weave summer cloths.
• Pockets and wash care. Two inset side pockets sit flat along the seams without adding bulk to the hip. Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle or hand wash, then hang to dry.
