We cut these culottes wide through the leg so the linen hangs loose and clears the calf. The high waist combines gathered elastic with an adjustable tie. Contrast lace finishes each hem, adding a clean border to the drape. Two side pockets keep the front functional.

• Leg cut and rise. A high rise leads into an open, skirt-like flare that sits away from the skin. The cropped length lets air move freely underneath, and the army green cloth holds its shape without clinging.
• Waistband construction. We built the waistband with wide elastic and an exterior drawcord. You can cinch it tight or let it sit easy without losing the gather across the back.
