These cropped pants take volume away from the ankle so heat escapes easily. We use a soft, stretchy knit in heather charcoal gray that holds its drape through daily wear and washing. The waistband sits between mid and high rise without digging in.

• Wide leg crop. We keep the leg loose through the thigh and calf, ending well above the ankle. The wider hem lets air move freely around the lower leg while you stretch or walk.
• Drawstring waistband. An elastic casing holds the waist in place, backed by a matching drawcord so you can adjust the tension. It rests flat across the middle without bunching.
