We cut these cropped lounge pants from a lightweight, stretchy knit with the soft hand of sleepwear. The wide leg falls straight past the knee so air moves freely around the calf. An adjustable drawstring through the waistband lets you set the tension where you want it.

• Wide cropped leg. The leg runs loose from the hip down and finishes at mid-calf with an open hem. It stays away from the knee so fabric never binds when you bend, stretch, or sit down.
• Drawstring waistband. We anchored an adjustable cord inside the stretch waist band. You can tie it snug for movement or leave it slack when resting, and the band stays flat across the middle.
• Deep side pockets. Two open pockets sit along the side seams, deep enough to carry a phone without dragging the waistband down. The pocket bags lie flat against the leg when empty.
